Warning: Western medicine tells women that douching can DECREASE your chances of getting pregnant because it kills the necessary bacteria in the female reproductive organ. However, many other cultures say the opposite is true. Speak to your doctor before trying one of these recipes.
Lemon Juice Douche (supposedly improves the pH making it easier for sperm to travel. Use 10-30 minutes before intercourse.

If you are worried that your unborn child may be ill or be born with an inherited problem, cut an apple in half. Take one half and rub the fruit over your belly. Envision any sickness being drawn out of your womb and out of your child, and into the fruit. When you are done, bury that tainted half an apple in the ground, away from your baby's nursery window. Then go wash up, you are probably all sticky.
If a tree grows from the seeds left in the buried apple, this is an indication that your child will be very strongly linked to the element of Earth, and will never know hunger.
Eat the remaining half while envisioning your baby being born happy and healthy. You may wish to light a green, pine-scented candle while doing this. Green candles are great for healing spells, and pine is associated with Earth and fertility. If you are allergic or can't eat apples, throw it out, but take the time to do the visualization.
(The apple doesn't have to be green. I just used a picture of green apples.)
Spell to Conceive a Son
During your most fertile time arrange three candles in a triangle. At the top should be a yellow one (Sun), to the left a green one (Earth) and to the right a blue one (Rain). These are the symbols of the Father. Take a dried Oak Leaf and in red ink write the following: "Sow in my womb a son as tall and healthy as the mighty Oak". Place the leaf in the center of the triangle. Next, place an acorn on top of the leaf, repeating the following:

Spell to Improve Chances of Conceiving a Child
Fill a warm (not too hot) bath and add 3 drops of lemon oil, 3 drops of orange oil and 3 drops of lime oil. Take turns bathing one another thoroughly (no soap, just a clean cloth and the scented water), until the water cools. About 30 minutes. After you have bathed and before love making, each of you should drink a half a cup (4 oz.) of caffeinated coffee or tea. Caffeine improves sperm motility in males and studies have shown women who drink this amount of caffeinated tea each day improve chances to conceive up to 200%.
After making love, the male should place several pillows under the woman's hips, tipping her pelvis up and back. This makes it easier for the sperm to travel to the ovum. To help alleviate the discomfort this awkward position can cause, he should remain with her and massage her feet and calves. This stimulates blood circulation through out the body including the womb. This position should be held for 30 minutes.
To Prevent Miscarriage
If you are having trouble carrying to term, use this spell in combination with your conception ritual. Begin by getting a sturdy piece of green rope (for growth). Tie one knot in it to represent the baby. Hold the rope gently in both hands and place it up against your heart and say, "Secured in my womb, a seed of love. There to grow and blossom until released by nature __months hence. Surrounded by safety, health, and wholeness you shall remain until this knot is undone." Fill in the blank with the number of months until your due date, then keep the rope bundled in a baby blanket.
When you go into labor, untie the knot at the hospital to release any pain and open the birth canal. This is similar to what many European midwives used to do. When delivering a baby, they opened every cupboard, button, and window so that labor would be swift.
Note from Starwitch: I would recommend that you spend some time visualizing the work of art above and imagine that you are in the center of the angels and that they are infusing you with healing energy that will keep your baby safe and sound. Visualize that the baby is already born and you are holding her in your arms. Use the Law of Attraction to bring about the outcome you desire.
Dreaming Exercise: Meet Your Unborn Child
Keep a pen and paper beside your bed so that you may write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. Keep in mind that you may awaken during the night and should write down any dreams before falling back asleep.
As you lie down to go to sleep, count yourself down from ten to one, stopping periodically to remind yourself to take a deep breath and go deeper. If you find you are still tense from the day, count down again from ten to one. When you are very relaxed and nearing sleep, tell yourself with belief and intent that you will meet with your unborn child this night during dreaming and that you will remember it upon waking.
Turn your attention to the child in your womb. If you are not the mother, focus your attention on your image of the baby and continue as directed. Visualize your intention to meet with this being in a dream that night and send it with the feel of a question. Be specific that you are asking the child to meet you in a dream.
Allow yourself to fall asleep.
Fertility Charms
This is a list of various charms to use/carry to help promote fertility.
~Carry a bagful of hazel nuts to ensure your own fertility.
~Other herbs to ensure fertility are basil, hazel, poppy, cucumber, apple, pomegranate, acorns, myrtle, and all other nuts.
~Men should carry a piece of mandrake root to ensure their won fertility and sexual prowess, while the jasmine flower does the same for women. The first seven herbs listed above can be added to food and take internally to ensure proper fertility, or they can be introduced into sachets, as can acorns, myrtle and nuts.
~Bull Amulet: To increase fertility in women and men, wear a bull shaped amulet, or place on under the bed before making love.
~Fish Amulet: An amulet shaped like a pair of fish and made of gold or mother of pearl will increase fertility and virility, bring prosperity and offer you protection from people you hate or who have evil intentions.
~Goat Amulet: The symbol of the goat (sacred to Aphrodite and the Horned God) increases fertility when worn or carried as an amulet, and is especially favorable for those born under the sign of Capricorn.

Fertility Spell
A couple wishing to conceive a child should come together when the woman is in the fertile part of her cycle. Coordinating this with any of the other timings will improve the potential for success. Decorate the area for your spell in green and yellow. Set up an altar with the image of a pregnant woman in a central position to represent the Mother Goddess. Also place a seedling from any hardy plant nearby. Make sure both participants are well rested, healthy and calm before beginning.
Next sit in front of the altar and light a candle together to symbolize your shared hope. Dedicate a moment of prayer to your household God/dess, then begin breathing in unison, and extending your senses to each other. Chant quietly in unison, "Fertility, grow in me." Allow this phrase to get louder as passion grows. Let nature take her course.
Finally, the couple should take the seedling somewhere to grow in rich soil that won't be disturbed so the magic can likewise root. This spell can be repeated anytime you're trying to conceive. It also may be used to smooth the course of adoptions by making the appropriate changes in the verbal component. In this case the sexual union extends loving energy to find the right child.
This spell can also be applied to unproductive areas of your life to encourage progress.
Fertility Spell 2
This spell is best performed on a Full Moon on a Monday evening around 7:30.
Supplies
1 baby blanket (preferable one of your old ones but a new store bought will do) 2 small slips of paper 1 pen or pencil 1 small box a bowl of fresh soil 1 pink candle, 1 blue candle, 1 green candle (tapers, not votive) Patchouli or cinnamon oil Sandalwood incense Soft background music (optional) 1. First take a ritual bath using patchouli or cinnamon oil
2. Have all of your spell ingredients close at hand
3. Light your incense and cast your circle your usual way, call your quarters if necessary.
4. Invite the Fertility Goddess of your pantheon (or any) to come and sit in your circle to assist you and listen to you.
5. Take the bowl of fresh soil and sprinkle dirt all around your circle and say: "this is the soil from whence the Great Mother shall provide."
6. Take your baby blanket and spread it lovingly on your altar or spell table and say: "this is the wrap that shall warm my wee one."
7. Take your green candle and place it in the center. Take the blue candle and place it on the left of the green one. Take the pink candle and place it on the right of the green one. While doing this say: "these are the candles that fire the womb."
8. Now take the green candle from its holder and oil it with cinnamon or patchouli and focus on your baby. See the essence of the baby. See yourself big and pregnant then see yourself giving birth. Next, see yourself holding your baby in your arms. Put the green candle back it its holder.
9. Light the blue candle then light the pink candle. Now take both candles and using both, light the green candle and say:
"Pink for a girl and blue for a boy Wee one you will bring such joy. Fill up this womb with baby's life Goddess hear my heartfelt cries. I am strong and I am worthy To lead this baby on its life journey. And so tonight with child is me This is my spell, so mote it be!"
Now, take your pen or pencil and on each slip of paper, write down your favorite name for a boy and your favorite name for a girl. Fold the papers up and place them in your small box. Set the box in front of the green candle and allow the candle to burn all the way down. You can move this to a safe burning place if need be. Go and make passionate love to your husband/lover. Once the candle has burned down, take the small box and put it in a safe place. Do not dwell on getting pregnant. Forget about the spell.
Exercise to Attune to your Unborn Baby
Initially this exercise needs to be done in a safe place where you will be undisturbed for at least an hour. Once a connection is made, the exercise may be done anywhere, anytime. It is beneficial to use during times of stress for mother or for child or when you are in uncomfortable surroundings.
If you would like to do this exercise with a partner, choose one of you to lead the exercise with spoken directions or tape it to play back during meditation.
Make yourself comfortable. Take care of any bathroom or food needs ahead of time. Light some incense or candles. Cast a circle, or simply call in the Spiritkeepers of the directions, if you feel more comfortable this way. Take a deep breath and relax. Count yourself down from ten to one, stopping periodically to remind yourself to take a deep breath and go deeper.
Visualize a bubble forming just before your face. Blow all your fears, stresses, irritations, any negative energies you may be carrying around into this bubble. Watch the bubble grow and begin to rise. Blow the last of these energies into the bubble and watch as it flies off toward the sun, carrying these things away from you. Feel very centered and relaxed.
Feel the energy of the Earth, flowing up through the soles of your feet, or the base of your spine if you are seated on the floor. Feel this light and visualize it filling you completely. It flows out the pores and your eyes and out through the top of your head.
Become aware of the energy of the universe flowing into you through the top of your head and filling your body. Feel and visualize this light filling you completely. It flows out your pores and your eyes and down through the soles of your feet or the base of your spine.
Visualize and feel these energies flowing through you at the same time. See them as balanced and centering you. You are energized and revitalized.
Now turn your attention to your womb. Be aware of any sensations or images that come to mind. Send a gentle stream of love and peacefulness to the child within your. Visualize an image of you, smiling and happy with this child in your life.
If you are practicing with a partner, both of you should visualize the same images together. Follow the image of mother with an image of the partner.
As you progress with this exercise, and as your pregnancy progresses, you may choose to use this exercise to introduce your child to the rest of your family. They do not need to be present, only in your mental images. You may also use this exercise to learn more about your child, by being very aware of images or thoughts and by asking questions. The word Abraxas (or Abrasax or Abracax) was recorded in some ancient stones, called Abraxas stones, used as charms by Gnostic sects. It was believed that Abraxas was the name of a god who embodied the Good and Evil (God and Demiurge) into a single entity, representing the monotheistic God unique, but not omnibenevolent (such as the Christian God). Abraxas was once considered an Egyptian god and a demon. This is possibly the origin of abracadabra palabra, although other explanations exist. KALI Kali is the destructive aspect of the Goddess Devi,Durga and et cetera in Hinduism. The Puranas describe her birth and appearance as such. Kali brow as the Dityas, led by Canda and Munda attacked Ambika. Kali then wrecked havoc and devoured, trampled or slew the entire arny. Then Ambika became violently angry with her enemies, her face growing black as ink with rage. Suddleny there issued forth from between her eyebrows Kali, with protruding fangs, carrying a sword and a noose, with a mottled, skull-topped staff, adorned with a necklace of human skulls, covered with a tiger-skin, gruesome with shriveled flesh. Her mouth gaping wide, her lolling tongue terrifying, her eyes red and sunken, she filled the whole space with her howling. According to the Puranas: Kali in Tantra In Tantric mythology, the demon was called Kali because she is coming from the feminine form of kala meaning time, death and black. The skulls represent the fundamental energies of the cosmos: The hands symbolize action and its karmic fruition. She is also usually holding a decapitated head in one of her left hands and a sword in another.Devotees of Kali see her as a loving and proctetive mother. They call her Kali Ma and ask her for health, wealth, happiness and liberation. As queen of the demons and sultana of the Indian hell, Kali is completely black and wears a collar of golden skulls. In older times, she was offered human victims. DANTALION The Seventy-first Spirit is Dantalion. He is a Duke Great and Might, appearing in the Form of a Man with many Countenances, all Men´s and Women´s Faces and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any and to declarate the Secret Counsel of any one; for he knoweth the Thoughts of all Men and Women and can change them at his Will. He can cause Love and part of the World they Will. He governeth 36 Legions of Spirits and this is his Seal which wear thou,et cetera. HECATE Hecate, also called Agriope(savage face) was the daugther of the Titan Perses and of Asteria, although sometimes it is said that Zeus himself fathered her and she is the mother of Scylla. It is thought that she was also known as the dark side of the goddesses; Artemis, Selene or Diana. She was said to have three faces, symbolizing her power over the underworld, earth and air. Thus she is sometimes depicted with a three heads, that of a dog, a horse and a lion. Sometimes she is also portrayed with a torch orr with a back of hounds. She was only worshiped at night by torchlight and dogs and black lambs were sacrificed to her. Hecate is goddess of the Underworld, of chthonic rites and of black magic as well as goddess of night and darkness. She may also have been a moon goddess representing its terror and darkness just as Diana represented the moonlight splendor. Medea was her prietess to whom she taught the art of magic. According to the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, Hades abducted Persephone, the daugther pf Zeus and Demeter and forced her to live with him in the Underworld. During Demeter´s search for her daughter, she met HEcate, who admitted she too had heard Persephone´s cries for help but didn´t know who abducted her. Helios told Demeter that Hades was Persephone´s abductor and that Zeus had given him permission to do that. Demeter grew angry at this and protested by preventing all grain from growing until her daughter was given back to her. Hades propositioned Persephone to stay with him, and before she left, secretly gave her some pomegranate seed, so that she could never permanently stay in the light. Demeter was horrified at this action, and entrusted Persephone to Hecate. Although Hecate be considered a demon, she is also a Goddess very honored by Hecatin Tradition. LUCIFER The name Lucifer means light-bearer and is not used in the New Testament, where the bearer of light is Christ. Lucifer was once one of the Seraphim who recelled against God and was cast out of heaven. Lucifer, Son of the Morning How art thou fallen from heaven O day-star, son of the morning! (Helel ben Shahar) How art thou cast down to the ground, That didst cast lost over the nations! And thou saidst in thy heart: I will ascend into heaven, Above the stars of God(El) Will I exalt my throne; And I will sit upon the mount of meeting, In the uttermost parts of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds I will be like the most high(Elyon). Yet thou shalt be brought dow to the nether-world, To the uttermost parts of the pit. _ Isaiah 14:12-15 This is the only passage in the bible that mentions Lucifer. In Christian tradition, this passage is proof for the fall of Lucifer. However, it is more probable that this passage is an allusion to a Canaantie or Phoenician myth about how Helel, son of the God Shahar, sought the throne of the chief God and was cast down into the abyss because of this. Evidence for this thoery comes from an Ugaritic poem about two divine children, Shachar(dawn) and Shalim(dusk), who were born as the result of the intercourse of the God El with mortal women. That would make El, Elyon and Shahar members of the Cannanite pantheon and the mount of meeting is the abode of the Gods, which corresponds to Mount Olympus in Greek mythology. Unfortunately, this is just speculation as archaeologist haven´t uncovered any Canaanite sources that describe Helel ben Shahar or a revolt agaisnt Elyon. Many Apocalyptic writers interpreted this passage as referring to Lucifer and wrote about the fall of the angels. 1 Enoch refers to the falling angels as stars(see the watchers and may be the beginning of the overlap between the story of the watchers and Isaiah.) Later authors, such as St. Jerome, associate Ezekial 28:13-15 with Lucifer, the greatest of the fallen angels. It has been argued that this passage was actually addressed to Nebuchadrezzar.

Later interpretations of the fall tell that Lucifer was upset because God the Father made Lucifer’s brother, Jesual, the Son. From his head, he gave birth to Sin, and by copulating with her, fathered Death. He was then cast out of heaven.

You get 1 white, 1 blue, and 1yellow candle. Light them all in front of a mirror and say this chant:

When you finish this chant, pour the wax from the candles into a small glass with a new wick in it. Repeat this day after day until your new candle is made. Burn your new candle until it or the wind puts the candle out. When you're feeling overweight again light the candle and let it put itself out.

This is a meditation spell. You will require a number of candles. Basically any shape candles but their colors should be light blue, white or purple.
This spell can be cast anywhere where you can remain for a period of time (the longer the better) and where you will be undisturbed and comfortable. Light the candles and start the incents or potpourri (you don?t need both, just one, or if the candles are scented that works as well).
Lay down in your comfortable place and chant the following chant:

Lemon Uncrossing Spell (to break a curse)
In a sachet, combine the following herbs: St. John's Wort, sage, calamus and dragonsblood powder. Set the sachet aside for later. Fill an incense brazier with dragonsblood incense. On your altar, you will need an athame, a whole ripe lemon, 1 white and 1 black candle, a bowl of salt and a bowl of water. You will also need a glass or ceramic plate to set the lemon on when you are done. Do not use paper or wood.
Light the candles and the incense. Hold the lemon in both hands and visualize it magnetized and drawing the negative spell away from you. Dip your athame in the water then slice the lemon into three pieces. Set the athame aside and visualize the lemon drawing the negativity away from you and into the pulpy fruit. Repeat the following:

Take each lemon slice and dip it in the salt, making sure it is well coated. Set the slices back on the altar and say:

Purification Spell (To Break a Curse)
This is a "heavy-duty" purification spell.
On the night after the full moon and just before bed, light 13 candles, preferably white. Fill the tub up with hot water (as hot as you can stand to sit in). Add 1 cup sea salt, 1 tablespoon sage, 1 tablespoon lavender and 1 tablespoon chamomile. Turn off the water and let the bath steep in the herbs. Kneel or sit in front of the tub, in the nude, and repeat this incantation:
What was done was done Be it now undone By the light of the full moon's wane Cleanse my soul of taint and stain Let now my hurtful spell reverse And lift from me this vicious curse As I enter now this sacred space Return my spirit to it's grace
Enter the bath and let the water cleanse away the effects of the curse. Use your hands to gather up the water and pour it 3 times of your head. Each time you do, repeat:
Accept my apologies for what was done Disperse my spell with the morning's sun
Remain in the bath until the water cools. Drain the tub and rinse off. Snuff the candles and go to sleep. By dawn the curse will be broken and you will once again find that feeling of "blessedness" that you lost.
To Break a Curse Spell

Hold the lemon in both hands and allow the lemon to signify the negativity. Think of all the negative things that have happened to or around you and push them into the lemon, particularly if you suspect they are associated with the curse.
Put the lemon on the plate.
Dip your knife or athame in the water then slice the lemon into three pieces.
Touch each piece of lemon with the tip of the athame.

Basic Curse Breaker Spell

1. Fill the tub with water. Temperature should be comfortable for a long soak if the target is a living thing.

5. Keeping your mind in that calm and meditative state, submerge or wash the target slowly. If you are the target, get in the tub and simply lay back and soak. Relax. Let everything slip away.
6. Do this for at least ten minutes. When you are done, drain the water away down the drain and rinse it off the target. It is absolutely necessary that all of the saltwater is washed off of the target!
